How Waiting And Trusting [Make You Successful]

Waiting, Trusting, Obey and Patience can be at times hard words to hear.

The late 14th century poet William Langland is credited with the saying; “Patience is a virtue.”

Isaiah 40:31: “But those who wait on the LORD will find new strength.  They will fly high on wings like eagles.”

Ever tried to outrun God?

I have.

And the result was failure every time.

The Wednesday Words of the day are patience, waiting, listening, trusting and obey.

Life has a way of introducing difficult situations.

With this in mind, tough choices are yours to make.

Your recipe for success is to use the most precious gift you have.

Prayer and fellowship with God Almighty.

To clarify, ask for His guidance on what to do.

Be still, waiting for His answer.

Trust that if your prayer and petition is in line with His will for your life then He will make you successful.

Continue to pray to Him every day.

Because He will show you the clear path He has prepared for you.

Stay busy and pray until He has His say.

Then listen, trust and obey your way to success in all you do.

The world is filled with people whose lives are transformed by God each and every day.

I know someone who in one year, by waiting and trusting; had his life transformed by God.

  • Increased annual income by several hundred thousand dollars
  • Dramatically improved health by losing over 80 pounds
  • Answered the Call
  • Thanks to God, is now led to help others grow closer to Our Lord Jesus Christ

As a result, Infinitely Blessed by The Lord because he turned his life over to Christ.

Waiting and Trusting: What Does It Mean To Wait On The Lord

In my past life in the media it was not uncommon to go without employment from time to time.

Moreover, the average lifespan of a broadcast media executive is 4 to 5 years in one market or city at best.

Recalling a time when this happened to me a good friend of mine provided me with some encouraging advice.

I was in the middle of my own pity party.

My friend told me that a good friend of his once told him that in order to change your circumstances, you need to get up and do something about it.

I said to him, “You’re right!”

Then I asked who the good friend was that gave him the great advice.

He responded, “It was you.”

Waiting and Trusting the Lord does not mean sitting around.

Moreover, you need to connect with God each and every day to seek His counsel.

While you are waiting for God to answer your prayers, your focus should first be on deepening your relationship with His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ.

Remember what Christ has told us.

John 14:6, “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Fact to inspire you.

Jesus Christ is praying for you each and every day.

For you to be successful, to fight off temptation and resist evil.

Furthermore He is our advocate to Father God Almighty!

What is your dream?

It’s your turn to make it a reality.
