How You Find Wisdom And Riches

Wisdom and Riches. How do you find wisdom and riches? In Books, from a mentor, a life coach, the internet?

All these claim they have wisdom and riches.

Wisdom.

Knowing the answers to many things under the sun!

Riches.

You could have anything and buy anything you want!

Given a choice which one would you choose and do you have to make a choice?

I.Q. stands for Intelligence Quotient.

As a result, going by the highest I.Q. would mean astrophysicist Christopher Hirata is the smartest person in the world in 2021!

Webster’s online dictionary defines Wisdom as the ability to discern inner qualities and relationships; Insight.

Thank God!

That being book smart and being instilled with wisdom are not one in the same.

You do not need a high IQ by the world’s standards to have a High Godly I.Q..  More on that later.

In this message we will show how you find wisdom and riches.

Wisdom, Riches, Mentors and Life Coaches

The ground rules.

No get rich quick schemes allowed.

They never work.

No large sums of money spent on a mentor or a life coach.

Only works for the ones being paid the large sums of money.

Where NOT To Look For Wisdom and Riches

You can’t find it from another man or woman.

Look hard though you may, you won’t find it in any old book.

To understand where Wisdom comes from.

You must know in which direction to look.

It doesn’t come from a shrink, though you can gain it in a blink.

Of an eye, that is.

You won’t find it from a mentor.

Or an information center.

Nor a life coach.

Or with a strategy of reproach.

Wisdom and riches won’t be found in the words of your favorite sports star.

Or the computer GPS in your brand new car.

It won’t be found in Washington (government).

Because for them, folly, hate and lies are the ways it’s done.

Do You Know Your Why?

What is the first thing you think about when you wake up each day?

If your answers were any of the following;

  • Coffee
  • Job
  • Money

Think again.

Your WHY is your reason for being, for living.

It’s the reason that you go to a job.

The reason you work hard, the reason you do what you feel you have to.

Money is not your why.

Though money can lead you to your WHY, provided you use it wisely and for good.

Finding your WHY seems to be the catch phrase of the last couple of years.

Mentors and life coaches have been helping people find their why for years.

Moreover, the late famous American salesman and motivational speaker Zig Ziglar once said; “You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.”

In truth, you were meant to discover your why from the time of your first breath as an infant.

I cannot decide your why for you.

Though I can safely say, until you know your why, you will never get to where you are meant to be in this life.

Finding your why is the FIRST STEP to how you find wisdom and riches.

Where Does Wisdom Come From?

STEP TWO is to know that to acquire wisdom you must know where it comes from.

Wisdom comes from Christ because Christ is Wisdom.

1 Corinthians 1:30; “But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption.”

How You Find Wisdom and Riches

In order to do this, wisdom leads us to take a page from the book and life of Israel’s King Solomon.

1 Kings 3:5-14;

At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon in a dream by night; and God said, “Ask! What shall I give you?

And Solomon said:

You have shown great mercy to Your servant David my father, because he walked before You in truth, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart with You; You have continued this great kindness for him, and You have given him a son to sit on his throne, as it is this day.

Now, O Lord my God, You have made Your servant king instead of my father David, but I am a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in.

And Your servant is in the midst of Your people whom You have chosen, a great people, too numerous to be numbered or counted.

Therefore give to Your servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and evil. For who is able to judge this great people of Yours?”

The speech pleased the Lord, that Solomon had asked this thing.

Then God said to him:

Because you have asked this thing, and have not asked long life for yourself, nor have asked riches for yourself, nor have asked the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern justice, behold, I have done according to your words; see, I have given you a wise and understanding heart, so that there has not been anyone like you before you, nor shall any like you arise after you.”

And I have also given you what you have not asked: both riches and honor, so that there shall not be anyone like you among the kings all your days.

So if you walk in My ways, to keep My statutes and My commandments, as your father David walked, then I will lengthen your days.”

Step Three.

Solomon knew that the greatest thing he could ask for and ever want was to be granted wisdom from The Only One who could give it to him.

Of his own free will he chose God as his mentor and life coach!

You have wisdom and riches at your fingertips and it can be yours to have TODAY!

Step Four.

It can be found in The Only Book that matter, The Holy Bible.

Want Proof?

The benefits of reading The Book are many!

Three short years ago I found myself jobless.

Some money saved from a long career in the broadcast media industry.

I was a believer in Christ, working in a dark industry for years.

In my 50’s charged with having to reinvent myself.

I started to read every book I could.

Tried to create the “new me” on my own.

Nothing worked.

Suddenly the voice inside my head and heart told me that I had failed to do the only thing that mattered.

On my knees in prayer one early morning, I softly uttered these words.

“Lord Jesus, I have failed you. I have turned to the world for my answers most times instead of turning to You, ALWAYS. I now commit my total being to you and surrender back to you fully, the life you created in me.”

As a result, I found myself being led in directions I would have never dreamed of.

Having more time each day to do what matters most.

Helping others and spreading The Good News that Christ has died, Christ has risen and Christ will come again!

My annual earnings have far exceeded what they were during my 30 plus years in broadcast media industry.

Only One book, The Book (The Holy Bible) helped me, no mentor or life coach helped me.

Christ has blessed my life with riches and I know He will do the same for you.

I saw it and continue to see it happening before my very eyes and am in constant awe of The Lord!

All this I share with you freely not to try and impress you, but to impress upon you.

You can have the life you have always dreamed of.

Step Five.

All you need to do is to surrender your life to Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Let’s take this journey together each week as you will find new Christian Blogs here each and every week designed especially for you to help with your walk through this life.

Psalm 102:18; “Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord.”
