Does God Exist?

In the first episode of our series on True Discipleship we’ll tackle the questions of God’s existence.

The Bible’s reliability.

Whether or not Jesus Christ died on the cross to save the world from sin.

Last week’s episode was titled The Selfless Servant and the Nomad.

You can access it and download it here.

Today we begin our series on True Discipleship, Does God Exist.

The Bible contains over 100 verses on discipleship.

John Chapter 8, Verses 31 and 32; “To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

The benefits of discipleship are many.

Biggest by far is thee forgiveness of our sins and the promise of an eternal life with THE LORD, in His Kingdom.

A promise that becomes a reality, IF, you believe, who HE says HE is.

Over the course of the next several weeks, we’ll discuss the keys to becoming a true disciple of Christ.

  • Sanctification
  • Love
  • Wisdom
  • Discernment
  • Becoming a true peacemaker
  • A good steward
  • How to wear the armor of GOD,
  • Identifying wolves in sheep’s clothing
  • False prophets and false prophecy
  • How to live and thrive in a fallen world
  • Finally, the role the church plays or should play in mentoring others to become disciples.

Most every human who has ever lived, has heard the name of Jesus while growing up.

You have heard about who Jesus was and is at an early age and at some point, in your life and you decided to travel down one of these roads.

There is The road of Belief, in that Jesus is who He says He is, the Only Son of the Living God.

Perhaps you have been walking down the road of Disbelief.

This road in itself is divided, consisting of those who do not believe Jesus was who He says He is and those who do not believe that Jesus ever existed.

Without the existence of God, there would be no purpose for meaning, no purpose for living.

Find truth, hope and purpose and listen here.

Let’s take this journey together each week.
