Here is a question to every political and public leader in 2020, 2021 and beyond, what is your point?
Leadership, round and round it goes, where it stops nobody knows.
This person leans one way, another person leans the other way, the only way anyone should be leaning is UP.
So, the 2020 election is in the rearview mirror.
As a result, we thought it a good time to examine the messages that were sent your way this past year on the internet and by way of social media.
Leaders from all walks of life took to the internet and to social media channels to promote their political agendas.
Furthermore, political, religious, television, music industry and media personalities all did their fair share in trying to influence you in 2020.
Pick a celebrity in any of the above mentioned categories and they all had a political stance.
As well as an emotional reason to share with you to convince you to vote their way.
Some 55% of Americans were already worn out from a daily barrage of political ads and posts.
Political parties aside.
Social media played a BIG ROLE in attempting to influence Americans in 2020.
Fatigue is a fact for many when it comes to incurring a daily does of misinformation and disinformation.
As a matter of fact, 54% of Americans say that social media companies should not allow political ads on their platforms.
In today’s message, we will outline three BIG points why America’s political and spotlight leaders missed the big picture.
2020 Leadership On Stage – What Is Your Point:
It’s never a good idea for anyone with a megaphone to take stage to push their political agenda.
Furthermore, WHY exactly are you pushing your agenda on anyone who can see or hear it?
Meaning, what is your true reason for doing this?
This politician raises the employee minimum wage.
As a result, businesses reduce workforces and good people lose their jobs.
That politician raises taxes and the cost is passed onto the citizen, the consumer.
Pick a party, pick an issue, there are no free lunches for Americans.
In truth, whether for good or for bad.
Every single person on the face of this earth has an agenda.
I have been saved by and through the grace of God.
You too can live forever by believing in Jesus Christ.
Furthermore, it is to deliver to you truth, hope, purpose and inspiration time and time again each week.
Point #1 to the political and public “leadership” in America.
It’s not about you and your beliefs, it’s about what God wants.
2020 Leadership – On Behalf Of:
Top 3 reasons why I am campaigning for “Mr. or Mrs. or Ms. Blank.
- I am doing it for you, so you can live the life you always wanted
- He is God’s candidate
- You don’t understand how this current “politician” is ruining our country
Forgive me for incorporating a little humor (above) into this message.
In all seriousness, I am a follower of Christ, who each day tries to walk humbly.
As well as respect and love my neighbors.
Truth is, truth. Simple as that.
When you campaign for a politician under the guise of you are doing it for me, for our country or because you claim that it is what God wants.
You are walking down a dangerous path.
2020 Leadership – Why You Missed The Point
Trump, Pence, Biden, Harris, pick a political leader.
It matters not.
What ultimately matters is this.
When your beliefs are not in line with God’s will for your life, you have a problem.
Hollywood, the media, celebrities from all walks.
You back a politician whose beliefs don’t line up with God, then you have a problem.
Religious leaders, your place is in preaching the gospel, not to be on the campaign trail.
What matters most is that we love and honor God and love one another.
Unconditional love is love without condition or limitation.
It dawns on me with each passing moment that Christ loves each of us unconditionally.
He died for us, when He didn’t have to.
What matters is what you are doing today to create or strengthen your relationship with Jesus Christ!
Let’s take this journey together each week as you will find new Christian Blogs here each and every week designed especially for you to help with your walk through this life.
